Ingredients
1 lb pecan halves
1 egg white (not egg white substitute)
1 Tbsp water
1 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
Directions
- Preheat oven to 275F.
- Beat egg white and water until frothy but not stiff.
- In another bowl, combine sugar, cinnamon and salt.
- Pour pecans into egg white mixture and stir until coated.
- Pour sugar mixture over pecans and stir until well coated.
- Spread on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 36 minutes, stirring every 12 minutes.
- Cool completely and store in air-tight containers.
